From exile to queen-whom can she trust?
An On the Prowl story.
Alexandra “Sasha” DeStephano has long been exiled from her own kind, thanks to parents who had no wish for her to grow up in the “tiger mafia”. Now that she’s been issued an engraved invitation to appear before the society elders, she finds herself plunged into a dangerous battle for power, urged on every side to give up her birthright to make room for a new regime.
On every side, that is, except Colton Reyes, a rogue alpha. Cole plants the idea in her mind that, under the current leadership, the tiger society is headed down a one-way street to disaster. And she is their only hope.
Spurred on by a man who flips all her sexual switches, Sasha steps up to the plate-and finds herself promoted from Tiger Princess to Queen. The resulting consequences are far more than she ever imagined.
In this game of danger and intrigue, almost no one can be trusted. Cole’s best chance to protect her? Pretend to claim her as his mate.
Except pretending is the last thing on Sasha’s mind.
This is a fast paced short novel.
Sasha is unsure what is expected of her after being banished from the tiger dynasty for more than half of her life. An unexpected invitation has arrived requesting the presence of Sasha to an evening gathering of meeting the rest of her fellow tigers.
She is currently escorted by a mysterious person named Cole, who is more than just good lucks. Everyone Sasha comes in contact with has an agenda including Cole.
Cole knows what is like to be banished. He too wants something from Sasha yet neither can handle the attraction that develops between them.
With this being a short novel, the friendship that formed between Cole and Sasha quickly turns into something more than either one could have imagined.
Tiger by The Tail’s storyline is just as fast the tiger. Things more than heat up between the newly appointed queen and her mate. I enjoyed the teasing and sarcastic quips thrown out by Sasha and of course the slow yet going at good pace seduction Cole set out for his lady tiger.
There are lots of intrigues included to make this into more than a great read for that lazy day Sunday. And I definitely look forward to reading more of Cole and Sasha’s adventures.
I give Tiger by The Tail a rating of 4 out of 5 Bookies.
