Delirium by Lauren Oliver

Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn’t understand that once love – the deliria – blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the governments demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Holoway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.

But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable: She falls in love.

A lot of these books I'm really looking forward to reading!

These are some great titles! I wonder if Delirium will live up to its hype.

A number of these books are on my Wish List.

Mmmm. The Perfect Play is just so much fun to look at. They need to include a fold-out poster with copies of the book. ^___^

…oh, and I'm sure Jane Lovering's book is just great, but I can't stop thinking about that dang Rhianna song every time I see the book title!

The Perfect Play is at the top of my wish list. I love the cover but I actually prefer the cover for the second book in the series that comes out later this year. It is a baseball themed story. That cover is even better than this one!

I have to get "The Perfect Play" if for no reason than the cover model, Jed Hill. *sigh*

I'm also wondering if Delirium will live up to its hype, especially since I have been waiting on it for months and it still isn't on shelves here in New Zealand. I guess I'll find out when the time finally comes for me to pick up a copy…

Every time I stop by this blog the amount of books on my wish list always increases.
I just added at least 4 new books from this post, and I already had 3 of the other books on my wish list.
