New Releases: July 11 – July 17

Once Every Never – Lesley Livingston

Clarinet Reid is a pretty typical teenager. On the surface. She’s smart, but a bit of slacker; outgoing, but just a little insecure; not exactly a mischief-maker… but trouble tends to find her wherever she goes. Also? She unwittingly carries a centuries-old Druid Blood Curse running through her veins.

Now, with a single thoughtless act, what started off as the Summer Vacation in Dullsville suddenly spirals into a deadly race to find a stolen artifact, avert an explosive catastrophe, save a Celtic warrior princess, right a dreadful wrong that happened centuries before Clare was even born, and if there’s still time—literally—maybe even get a date.

This is the kind of adventure that happens to a girl once every… never.

A Dance with Dragons – George R.R. Martin
Forever – Maggie Stiefvater
Dragon’s Oath – P.C Cast and Kristin Cast
The Last Archangel – Michael D. Young
Blood Work – Kim Harrison
Ghost Soldier – Keith Melton
A cop and a Feel – Vivi Andrews
Spellbound – Jacqueline West
Which book(s) are you waiting for this week? It seems to be a pretty slow week for new releases, don’t you think?
Personally I’d like to read the Kim Harrison comic book.
Were you too waiting for the new George Martin book? I feel like I’ve been waiting for ages. So wanna bet on the number of years we’ll have to wait for the next book? 😉

Frankly, I'm happy for a slow week. I am somewhat interested in Maggie Stiefvater's series. I didn't realize it had werewolves. Also, I met her on a signing and she was really fun and charming. And she wore awesome shoes!

@Ju Dimello Ah! Well it was a slow week for me at least 😉 Yes books are a good way to settle down when unwell. I'm sure your DH will understand (you can always make his life hell otherwise *wink*)

@Sheree I've never read her books but i've been often tempted. I keep hearing great stuff about them. Let me know if you ever read them =)
