The Bored Winner Post

Hey Everyone!

Sorry no great story to tell today. Thankfully we didn’t have any more snow, so no further snow shovelling for me, it has been sunny but freezing cold. Lately I have the doubt that I’m in a  reading low. I haven’t had the high, excitement and enthusiasm I tend to have when reading great stories. I am bored and easily irritated with the story and characters. And I have the feeling it’s maybe not the stories’ fault but my being short tempered. Maybe I’m worrying for nothing and it’s all due to the fact that my exam is drawing near and it’s stressing me out on some subconscious level and not letting me enjoy too much any pleasure read, so next week I’ll have to go on another reading ban. For the last week before my bar exam, I forbid myself to read anything I would enjoy as I fear I would lose myself in the story instead on focusing on my studies :-/ So I hope that even if I’m not, at least you are reading some great books that you are enjoying, at least tell me about it 🙂

This week congratulations are in order for…

the lucky winner of an ebook copy of In the Service of the King by Laura Kaye is: Julianne

the lucky winner of an ebook copy of One Wicked Night by Kelly Jamieson is: Filia Oktarina

the lucky winner of their choice of Charley Davidson’s book by Darynda Jones is: Samina – Escapism Fanatic

the lucky winner of an ebook copy of Sodom and the Phoenix by Ann Mayburn is: Joanne B

Congratulations winners, you have been notified by e-mail of your win. You have 72 hours to get back to us, or we’ll have to draw a new winner.

Enjoy your Sunday! 😀

Congrats winners. Normally I’d be jealous right now, but I just discovered a used bookstore one town over that has a gloriously diverse SF selection.

    Coincidentally, I am suddenly broke.
