Since I don’t have anything interesting to tell you about my weekend (had to work on Saturday and so the weekend was painfully short for me ), I’ll tell you about last weekend, when I was playing the role of Martha Stewart in the kitchen and turned it into a Pie Factory Namely I have been wanting to try out what a pumpkin pie tastes like (living outside the US I have never eaten it), so besides a beautifully scented pumpkin pie (it smelled like Christmas in my kitchen due to the cinnamon nutmeg and ginger combo) I also prepared a traditional apple pie. Both had tremendous success with the family as they didn’t survive the serving So now my enthusiasm for pies has morphed into obsession: I want a beautifully polka dotted pie pan and would give anything for a pie chain (which to this day I wasn’t able to find in Europe ). So as you can see I live Pie-land at the moment, a delicious place for sure
And how was your weekend? Ate/cooked/baked anything yummy?
