Kelley Armstrong’s tv adaption of BITTEN has been picked up in the US by the  SyFy channel. The show will air in Canada and Stateside sometime next year. Kelley posted a Q&A  on some of the concerns of the adaption on her tumblr page  and stated ‘I can 100% guarantee you that the TV show will not alter one word of …

Is …

The best thing about children…

…is that they haven’t yet been told there is stuff they can’t do.

At least mine haven’t.

So when I asked my daughter (4) the other day what she wanted to be when she grew up, she told me with that trademark don’t-you-remember look on her face: “A pirate, of course.” Ah, of course. Silly me.

Pirate

Welcome to this week’s news post and  in this edition we have an epic authors behaving badly, Penguin facing another lawsuit, as well as our usual author updates and publishing news!

Anne Rice is no stranger to dramallamas on the internet, in fact I think there should be a special entry for her because when she’s in the midst of one they are truly epic. Anne Rice on her facebook page linked to the blog post and all hell broke loose. I liked how Miss Articulate fared with the critical onslaught and a few of Rice’s fans were disgusted by the attacks too and the fact that she made the book into art fares better than what I’ve heard …
