Borders.com announced their eBook store will be opening in June with ebooks available for a variety of devices. They are also offering the Kobo ereader for preorder at $149.99 (US).
Borders Australia online has started offering a guarantee that they will beat the price (with shipping included) of Amazon.com books shipped to Australia.

Heard about Tyra's book, not sure how I feel
Well, that will be a very interesting way to buy books! Never thought of vending machines for books, but it's definitely eye-catching.

Books sold from cigarette machines? I am going to have to go read that one. I hope cigarettes aren't still there too. Hopefully they are just reusing the machines, after they clean them out. 🙂 It would be a good way to recycle the machines though.
@Melissa – Books only- no cigarettes! It's getting them mentioned a lot on the web. I've come across several references to it in my web browsing.
