Seduce Me in Dreams by Jacquelyn Frank

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Nightwalkers and Shadowdwellers series, Seduce Me in Dreams begins a sexy new futuristic series featuring an elite group of military heroes.

Dark. Mysterious. Sensual. When Bronse Chapel, the commander of a specialized unit of the Interplanetary Militia, begins to dream about a beautiful and exotic brunette, he wants to dismiss it as being induced by lack of sleep . . . or perhaps lack of sex. But his instincts tell him it’s something different, something far more dangerous.

Ravenna is the leader of the Chosen Ones, a small group of people from her village born with extraordinary powers. She doesn’t know that draws her to Bronse’s dreams night after night, but she senses that he and his team are in jeopardy. Ravenna can help him, but first Bronse must save the Chosen Ones from those who plan to use their powers for evil. Together, Bronse and Ravenna will be unstoppable. But Ravenna is hiding something that could endanger them all.

Harlan Coben is one of my favorites. I can't wait to read Live Wire.

What an interesting cover for Dreadfully Ever After.

    Thanks for an info-packed column.

Jacquelyn Frank is one of my favorite authors. Lots of good books coming out.

@LSUReader I have to admit I never read any books by him. What are they like?

@ChrisS I always wanted to check her books out. With which one should I start?

  • LSUReader March 22, 2011 at 5:32 pm

Coben is an award-winning mystery/thriller author. His books have won the Edgar, Shamus and Anthony awards, an unheard of triple-play in this genre. He has several stand-alones and a very popular series that features a professional sports agent, Myron Bolitar, and his financial-wizard/slightly psycho friend, Windsor Horne Lockwood III. Live Wire will be his tenth Bolitar book. I would suggest starting with the first Bolitar book (Deal Breaker) or one of the non-series books, such as Hold Tight or The Woods.

I don't read as many mystery authors as I used to. Coben is one I won't give up!

I've been looking forward to Seduce Me In Dreams and Friendly Fire. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the shirtless guys on the cover. Well maybe a little. 😉

Sure, there are a few books I want on this list, but I'm having a hard time tearing my gaze from Paul Marron on Jacquelyn Frank's "Seduce Me in Dreams". *sigh*
