Blurb:

Do you get all weak-kneed at the sight of a grubby fireman or a hunky soldier? Perhaps immaculately-dressed waiting-on staff get you feeling frisky? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

Uniform Behaviour contains sixteen smutty stories about firemen, soldiers, sailors, police, security guards and even waiters, priests and cleaners!

Delve into this anthology and enjoy steamy stories from established erotica authors including Justine Elyot, Craig J Sorensen, Victoria Blisse, Shermaine Williams, Elizabeth Coldwell and Lucy Felthouse. Uniform Behaviour also proudly introduces some exciting debut authors. So remember, you saw them here first!

As well as being written and compiled for your titillation, this anthology is also designed to do good. A portion of the proceeds from Uniform Behaviour will be donated to UK charity Help for Heroes, which helps those wounded in current conflict.

The stories in this anthology have been hand-picked by a uniform aficionado, so you can rest assured that only the sexiest erotic fiction lies in this eBook.

My Thoughts: Uniform Behaviour is an erotica anthology comprising 16 short and very steamy stories, all featuring a hero or heroine in uniform!
I mostly expected to read about soldiers and firemen and was very pleasantly surprised at the variety of uniforms: there were sailors, a waiter, priest, cleaner, cook, security guard, a policeman and woman and even a Queen’s guard!
Now let’s see briefly what I thought of each story individually:
1. Fireman’s Lift by Rebecca Bond
Great characterisation despite the shortness of the story. The chemistry is sizzling between the H/H, thanks to the great writing the scene is classy but hot! This short story gives a whole new meaning to “fireman lift”, and I wouldn’t mind being stuck in an elevator the same way ;-p
Character in Uniform: sexy but shy young fireman
Heat level: Scorching hot read!
Rating: 5 flames
2. In Love and War by Lexie Bay
I found the framework story too rosy romantic, as if Anna was a young girl of 16-18, her notions about love and life were certainly naive and innocent. Their love scene was hot, but a pity it reverted back to the too-sweet-to-handle form of before.
Character in Uniform: Russian pilot
Heat level: Warm
Rating: 3 flames
3. Dirty Deeds by Victoria Blisse
It was interesting to see that this was the 2nd story where the heroine was around 40 and the hero was 10 or 20 years her junior, and I was more than surprised to realize that the big age gap didn’t bother me, it did nothing to decrease the sexiness of the story. I didn’t find the writing that stellar, but the sex scene was sure hot!
Character in Uniform: cleaning lady
Heat level: Hot read!
Rating: 3 flames
4. Just Couldn’t Wait by Lucy Felthouse
Wow! Even now, days later having read this story, I still have to fan myself, just thinking of that seduction scene! I never really saw waiters as sexy before, but this novella certainly changed that! Sam is the dream guy, yummy! ;-p
Character in Uniform: yummy waiter
Heat level: Scorching hot read!
Rating: 4 flames
5. Crest of a Wave by Shermaine Williams
Somehow this story stood out for me, unfortunately in a negative way. It just didn’t do it for me, while reading this short story I felt excluded, like a spectator looking in, detached from the events and characters. The sex scene felt scripted and too sudden for me, but it might be just a personal preference.
Character in Uniform: sailor
Heat level: Warm
Rating: 1.5 flames
6. Sin City by Rebecca Bond
Great, very hot story with detailed background. I really enjoyed the nice twist on the uniformed cop angle by having a sympathetic, and even emotional criminal as hero.
Character in Uniform: female cop
Heat level: Scorching hot read!
Rating: 4.5 flames
7. The Captain’s Persuasion by Delyth Angharad
This was a playful, hot story with tons of verbal foreplay and nonstop innuendos. Loved how the confident female pilot teased and played the honourable captain! 😀 The flirting was like a dance between the H/H with lots of slow caresses and quick jabs of shocking sexual innuendos. There is action, a plot and lots of verbal foreplay, great read.
Character in Uniform: space ship captain
Heat level: Warm but not explosive
Rating: 4 flames
8. Guard Mounting by Justine Elyot
A revelation again: I never considered these guards in their quite ridiculous huge bearskin hats sexy until now! This was a playful, sexy, funny story!
Character in Uniform: British Queen’s guard
Heat level: Not blazing, rather sweet and playful
Rating: 4.5 flames
9. Circling by Cassandra Carr
This was a nice hot story.
Character in Uniform: cook
Heat level: Hot story
Rating: 3.5 flames
10. True Confession by Indigo Skye
Wow! What is it with all the Thorn Birds fantasies? 🙂 Nothing could be more arousing and titillating than that explosive scene of forbidden pleasure. wow!
Character in Uniform: priest
Heat level: Explosive
Rating: 5 flames
11. The Weight of Duty by Madeline Elayne
The beginning of this story was like a whirlwind, I couldn’t get my footing but then the tub scene was full of heat and the heartfelt talk of the H/H at the end elevated this story. It really felt as if it were written by a man, the writer really channeled the male narrator’s voice!
Character in Uniform: soldier
Heat level: Hot
Rating: 3.5 flames
12. Venus by Hawthorn
This story also sticks out a bit as it had more of an emotional, tender feel to it than plain sensuality. I found it particularly sweet how the efficient sailor got shy and stammered when he couldn’t resist the heroine. It was a nice change to the other take charge men. This story was written so delicately that here it truly was a lovemaking scene. Still hot, but also sweet with gentleness.
Character in Uniform: sailor
Heat level: Hot
Rating: 5 flames
13. On Manoeuvres by Jack Delaney
Wow! This story will get you hot and bothered, and fanning yourself to try to cool down a bit! Explosive action, great writing!
Character in Uniform: soldier
Heat level: Explosive
Rating: 5 flames
14. Strictly No Parking by Elizabeth Coldwell
Again, up until now I didn’t find security guards as irreristible as other uniformed men, but thanks to that very domineering security guard this was a wonderful, scorching novella!
Character in Uniform: security guard
Heat level: Hot
Rating: 5 flames
15. Taken with Consent by Lexie Bay
This one was sexy yet romantic, cute and playful yet sweet. A wonderful combination and definitely one hot combo with great characters!
Character in Uniform: policeman
Heat level: Hot
Rating: 5 flames
16. Lingua Acutus by Craig J Sorensen
This novella also had an interesting set-up: having a young male soldier and a female drill sergeant. The young man’s smartass comments made me chuckle out loud more than once with the humour of the innuendos. This story had more of an emotional side telling more than a simple sex scene. The setting and framestory were enjoyable, the sex scene warm.
Character in Uniform: soldier
Heat level: Warm
Rating: 4 flames
Verdict: Uniform Behaviour is a wonderful, steamy short story collection. I loved the wide variety of characters in uniform and the settings couldn’t have been more different. The writing style and quality of the novellas were usually outstanding and everyone who picks up Uniform Behaviour is in for a treat! Be it a steamy sensual story you are looking for or a scorching, explosive one, you most certainly will find one to keep you warm at night! 😉
I give Uniform Behaviour 5 bookies!
