The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Mara Dyer doesn’t think life can get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there.
It can.
She believes there must be more to the accident she can’t remember that killed her friends and left her mysteriously unharmed.
There is.
She doesn’t believe that after everything she’s been through, she can fall in love.
She’s wrong.
It looks like the female authors dominated the new releases this week, though I did include one male author in the mix (Clive Barker). I’ve just finished The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and will be heading into Daughter of Smoke and Bone shortly, so the YA picks are at the top of my list this week (and Maureen Johnson’s latest release too!) What books are you most looking forward to?

Nooo!!!! Daughter of Smoke and Bone is HARDBACK?! I can't afford such extravagance.
I hope they don't change that gorgeous cover for the paperback edition…..
I'm waiting for my pre-ordered copy of Bloodstone to arrive….

Lots of good ones this week… I'm looking forward to The Name of the Star, and I have to catch up on the Elemental Assassins series so I can read Spider's Revenge!

I'm impatiently awaiting my pre-ordered Spider's Revenge. I love that series.
Oh a few books that I want. My bday is coming up on Oct 15th, will be the bog 4-0. I am asking for gift cards for barnes & noble or Amazon to be able to get them. I want the unbecoming of mara dryer and daughter of smoke and bone.
