Anyone else thinks it’s unfair to release so many great books now? It’s not like we have to save money for pressies. But well they make such pretty gifts too.

I already devoured the new Rogers and Fate’s Edge should be here soon.

Which book can’t you wait to start?

Do you actually gift books to family and friends? (I do, they all get at least one book)

Ooh yes, so many fantastic books released at the same time and especially so close to Christmas, I’m going broke! 🙂

I have already read a few of these (Kiss of Frost and Secret Santa), and both were great, Secret Santa became a favourite holiday read 🙂 Can’t wait to read the others ;-p

I do feel like a xmas themed book- have to get into the mood. 😉

Then I can only recommend Secret Santa, fantastic Christmas themed UF story! 😀

But if you feel like a small town romance story, than check out Any Given Christmas by Candis Terry, nice story as well 😀

I’m waiting on Fate’s Edge myself as well and I will most probably get Within the Flames soon as well.

I usually give my mother books for her birthday (which is in december) and I buy a friend books for Sinterklaas (dec 5th)

    • Susi November 29, 2011 at 10:39 am

We usually only get cookies and sweets for Sinterklaas here- but I won’t complain or he will be angry with me. 😀

Maybe it’s a comfort for you to know that we don’t get presents at Christmas, only at Sinterklaas.

Seriously? OMG, we have to remidy that! *g*

Of the above I can’t wait to get into Cynthia Eden’s ANGEL OF DARKNESS.

I used to give books, now I give gift cards. That way I don’t buy them a book that just sits.

    • Susi November 29, 2011 at 10:41 am

I love myself some giftcards for amazon too. *g*

Ooo so many lovely books! I have Demon Bait, want to read the Ilona Andrews books, but have to catch up first, and the Marjorie M. Liu is on its way. Of course the Estep is on my list as well. I want the Cheyenne McCray book, but I still have not read the first books in that series, so I am telling myself to wait.

I’m so tempted by the iu books. I just read her first novella in her Hunter Kiss series and was very impressed by her voice.

      • Sullivan McPig November 29, 2011 at 3:56 pm

You really should read all Hunter Kiss books! They’re awesome! I’m waiting impatiently for The Mortal Bone which releases dec 6th.

This is just horrible. I want to read the majority of these books. My TBR pile is going to grow into a mountainous, fire-breathing dragon. lol

  • LSUReader November 29, 2011 at 3:52 pm

I give books to my grandchildren all the time. And, yes, they will be getting new ones for Christmas. Other kids on my Christmas list, and a few adults, will also receive books. Thanks for the updated list.
