Once blissfully in love . . .

Poppy Lane is keeping secrets. . . .

Yep….that’s one hell of a list this week, ladies and gents. Usually it would be pared down much more, but it was just so dang tough cutting things out. Lots of anticipated titles are being released this week–how does one choose? Alas, after #45, I decided to stop adding items. So enjoy! (And, sorry!)

This week’s mix of titles is a bit like a Rorschach test; everything is varied enough that you’ll notice the trended genres if you’re in tune with it. What jumped out at me was the offering of historical romances. From the more traditional to the paranormal to the extra spicy, there’s no shortage if that genre this week. On the other side there are some neat-looking contemporaries. A romance with a sports theme featuring bullfighting is a first….but that’s what you’ll find in Fierce Pride by Phoebe Conn.

A number of long awaited series titles are up this week: Black City (Black Wings, #5); Winterblaze (Darkest London, #3); Mountain Echoes (Walker Papers, #8); Edge of Dawn (Midnight Breed, #11); Immortal Ever After (Argeneau, #18); Calculated in Death (In Death, #5,674,813…you go, girl); and so on. There are a number of new series titles sprinkled in, but this is definitely the week of the tried-and-true series.

. . .

So, what’s your poison/pleasure this week (surely there’s something in the mix)? Are there any series that you’ve been reading for years (or, at least, several installments)?

I think I want half of those books! Some have been pre-ordered, others are from series or authors still on my wishlist or TBR. You sure found more books than I knew were being published today and that I want.

This was a wild week for sure! I had preordered an even dozen of them, and just put another on my wish list. I’m especially looking forward to the latest Walker Papers book.
