The Good, the Bad and the Are-You-Kidding-Me?

This week will be different from our usual posts. We united for a cause. Last week the cover for Magic Slays, book 5 in the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews was revealed and to say we both were underwhelmed is an understatement.
We will dedicate this post wholly to the cause of explaining in great detail why we don’t like it. Okay perhaps we should have kept the suspense a bit up but nope we can say it out loud: Us not likey!
BUT because we are huge Kate Daniels fans we will still buy it and probably hide it behind the wonderful Magic Bleeds cover. That’s a secret, so please don’t tell anyone how shallow we are about our shelves. Yes we are weird.

The Good, the Bad and the Are-You-Kidding-Me?

Like we decided a few weeks ago we will now choose our favorite covers with a special theme for the next few editions of “The Good, the Bad and the Are-You-Kidding-Me?” and tell you why we chose them. It would be awesome if you could tell us which cover with this theme is your favorite and perhaps we will all find some new to us cover candies we can obsess about.

Today we will try to find our favorite Angels and/or Demons covers and you guys can vote in the comments who’s selection you like best .(Even if I already know you all prefer Susi *pouts*) We had this fight…ahem… discussion for quite some time now and we think we finally need to proclaim a winner.

So please help us and tell us what you think about our selection.

Book Blurb:

Seventeen-year-old Lady Alexandra Stafford doesn’t fit into the world of Regency London — she’s strong-willed, sharp-tongued, and she absolutely loathes dress fittings. Unfortunately, her mother has been waiting for years for Alex to be old enough to take part in the social whirlwind of a London Season so she can be married off to someone safe, respectable, wealthy, and almost certainly boring. But Alex is much more interested in adventure than romance.

Between sumptuous balls, lavish dinner parties and country weekends, Alex, along with her two best friends, Ella and Vivi, manages to get entangled in her biggest scrape yet. When the Earl of Blackmoor …

Not to mention that Nora is haunted by images of her father and she becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to him that night he left for Portland and never came home.

The farther Nora delves into the mystery of her father’s death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim blood line has something to do with it as well as why she …
