All YA Love: My Favourite Series

Hey everyone! It’s YA time again. This week I will tell you my Top 3 favorite  YA series of all time… toughy, but also easy in a way. I will count this one down so that we can save the best for last ;P.

3rd Place: A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket.

Whoever has read the entire series of unfortunate events (against the author’s repeated warnings) either ended up very sad, very content, or very confused. Based around the adventures of Violet, Klaus and Sunny in their constant struggle to defeat Count Olaf an evil man after their fortune. When I was a kid I actually looked up to see if the Baudelairs were real…that’s how much I loved them. But I never figured out what the question mark on the radar was …

HE’S MY TEACHER. I SHOULDN’T BE ALONE WITH HIM. BUT I CAN’T HELP THAT HE’S IRRESISTIBLE.I let the door silently close at my back. He stared at me, and a taut quiet stretched between us.“I like hearing you play,” I said, moving toward him.He turned, in sync with my slow approach. He looked up at me but didn’t say anything. I rested my clammy hand on the cold, slick body of the baby grand. “May I?”The muscles in his throat shifted, then he swallowed. “Eden.”My knees weakened, like a soft tickling kiss had just been blown against …

When I think of my favourite couples in YA, it’s not because of their hotness, kick-ass status or sheer awesomeness. The perfect couple in YA is a mature one, and one that betters both parties. One sidedness in anything doesn’t work for me, and lack of growth or change doesn’t work either.

Which is why I have picked the following couples, they went in either broken or lost and came out whole with a partner that not only complimented them, but helped them to become a better person.

Alex and Brittany – Perfect Chemistry

A perfect example, and …
