Blurb: Only one thing stands between Alaina and her passion. His name is Scott.

Alaina knows her cars, and she doesn’t view what she does for a living as stealing. Using all the physical attributes she has at her disposal, she merely acquires the high-end vehicles for a business partner. Although the beautiful cars turn her on, she has her heart set on a particular gem. When she finds her jewel, Alaina is pleasantly surprised by its handsome owner, Scott.

Now she’s faced with a dilemma. Does she choose the man or the gem?

My Thoughts: Ruby Red Metallic is a very short but incredibly hot erotica novella!

Alaina is a strong, independent and sensual young woman. Her passion are beautiful sports car. She not only loves to look at them, she knows everything about them, how long it takes them to reach full speed, how many horsepower they’ve got and other details of their mechanic. She loves them and is excited by them like no other female character I have read about.

The thought of the Viper sent sparks flaring through her veins. Then, like now, the knowledge of a 600 horsepower engine made her hot and creamy. The fact that this vehicle could go from zero to sixty in four seconds made her skin tingle and flush.

The smell and feel of the leather, the soft purr of the 3.6-Liter engine, the smooth ride and knowing the top track speed was 204 miles-per-hour, all made her horny.

But Alaina doesn’t stop at a simply theoretical intellectual knowledge of sports car: she loves to drive and steal them! Yes, Alaina’s speciality is seducing the owners of the cars and then disappear with their car while they are still dazed in the throes of passion/sexual haze. She has a rule though: no sex with a client, just teasing and foreplay.

But she has to break her own rule when she meets Scott the handsome owner of a ruby red Porsche, her dream car. Not only is the car gorgeous, its owner is a sexy hunk who Alaina can’t and does not want to resist. The chemistry between Alaina and Scott set the pages aflame, it was scorching hot and exciting!

“How much of a passion are they?”
[…] a half smile on her face as she shot Scott a sideways glance and saw him watching her. “They make me very wet,” she said […]. She smiled at the awed look on Scott’s face then pointed out the window. “You’re on the wrong side of the road.”

Alaina’s character was a delight to read: I enjoyed her passion and knowledge of sports car and her fierce attitude towards lifting these cars was extraordinary, you don’t usually read about lot of female car thieves but Alaina made it sexy and exciting! (I’ve already loved this in Gone in 60 seconds, the movie)

Though we only got a brief glimpse at Scott through Alaina’s eyes I think he is an interesting character I would have loved to read more about. He is sexy, and has the making of the possessive and passionate alpha male and yet acts the gentleman.

Verdict: I enjoyed Ruby Red Metallic a lot and my only complaint is that it ended way too soon! I would really love if Casey Sheridan wrote a sequel and showed us what happens once Scott tracks down Alaina and punishes her for stealing his car *wink*

If you are looking for a thrilling short read that will make you hot and tingly, Ruby Red Metallicis the perfect choice for you!

I give Ruby Red Metallic 4.5 bookies!

I love sports cars myself, but not as passionately as this girl! What I don't understand is, why her dream car is a Porsche! That is such a "common" car, while there are such rare beauties!

Lol, Aurian, I completely get Alaina! Even though I know there are much more exclusive cars like the Maserati, Ferrari for example, I can't help it, my favourite are the Porsches as well (though not the red ones..come to think of it, colour doesnt really matter that much..). I just love their sleek, elegant yet sporty silhouette. My dream cars are the Mini Morris and the Porsche Boxer 🙂
