We are really happy to have author Elisabeth Naughton at Book Lover Inc today. She is here to celebrate her new release ENTWINED, book 2 in the Eternal Guardians Series which came out in July. Last week I was in Orlando for the 2010 National RWA Convention, which was held at the Dolphin Hotel in Disneyworld. I always have a great time at RWA – talk too much, laugh too much, get way too little sleep – and this year was no exception. I don’t think I went to bed before 2 a.m. any night, I laughed so much my cheeks hurt, and I got caught up on all the industry/book gossip I’d been missing. At the end of the week I’m usually ready to go home, and this year was no exception, but instead of hopping a plane home to Oregon, I climbed in a car and am now writing to you from the Central Florida coast where I’m staying at a gorgeous resort for the next few days, kicked back with a drink, plotting out my next book (in my head, at least).
Vacations always reenergize me. Last year when I was writing ENTWINED, the 2nd Eternal Guardians book which just released last Tuesday, the family and I went to Hawaii for a week. Anyone who has kids knows a vacation with kids isn’t really a vacation – it’s a family trip – but even with my three hyper gremlins, rainstorms that ruined our beach play and way too much time in the car, I came home refreshed and was able to finish the ENTWINED. I even got some great ideas for the book while lying on the beach. As I get ready to start the fourth book in the series (which STILL needs a one word title…any suggestions???? The others are MARKED, ENTWINED, TEMPTED…) I’m hoping this mini-vacation is just what I need to jumpstart my batteries and kick the writing bug in gear.

I love vacations but there are vacations where I return home more exhausted than I left 🙂 Had two of those this year, hope next year I'll have a more relaxed vacation.

Hi Pearl – thanks for all the great title suggestions! Unleashed is actually one I was strongly leaning towards but I just saw somewhere JR Ward is using it for her new BDB Series – I think Lover Unleashed?
I hear you on the vacations that leave you more tired than before you left. I'm hoping this vacation isn't like that for me. As it is, already exciting. We had a shark swim through our beach this morning. That was rather exciting (and got me moving to the pool.)

Meredith – Bound was actually one we tossed around for ENTWINED but in the end my editor and I decided it had too many meanings. That's what's hard with one word titles.

To answer your question, right now there will be at least five books in the series. If readers (and my editor) want more, I'll keep writing them!
