Hey All!!!
Welcome to another new weekly wishlist of mine.
Huge thanks to Susi and the other Book lovers for taking over in my absence. And also thanks to you all for the support and the recovery wishes.
So on with the show…
Here’s my new book wishlist. All these books have a sixteen year old heroine in common but otherwise the stories vary.
So let’s call this weeks Wishlist: The Sweet Sixteen edition. 🙂
Here you go:

First up is:

Almost to Die For: A Vampire Princess Novel (Vampire Princess of St. Paul) by Tate Hallway

Release Date: August 3rd 2010
Publisher: NAL Trade
AmazonBook Depository US, Book Depository UK

Description:

On her sixteenth birthday, Anastasija Parker’s present winds up being the shock of a lifetime. When her mom referred to her absentee dad as a deadbeat it was actually half true — he’s a vampire. And a king, no less. A king who wants his daughter to assume her rightful position at his side. But, thanks to Ana’s mother, the blood of a witch also runs through her veins…

Too bad vampires and witches are mortal enemies.

With her parents gearing up for an all out brawl over her destiny, Ana’s about ready to scream. But things get even crazier when a male witch and a brooding bad boy vampire start vying for her affection. Then the barely leashed tension between the vampires and the witches starts to boil over, and Ana has to figure out once and for all if she wants to become heir to her dad’s throne. And deciding your eternal destiny is a pretty big deal for a girl who just wants to get through high school.

I have new book crush which was completely caught my attention. And the description also drew me in as well. I can’t wait to read this new series.

Next up is:

Paranormalcy (Paranormalcy, #1) by Kiersten White
Relsease Date: August 31st, 2010
Publisher: HarperTeen
GoodreadsAmazonBook Depository US, Book Depository UK

Description:

Sixteen-year-old Evie’s job is bagging and tagging paranormals. Possessing the strange ability to see through their glamours, she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency. But when someone–or something–starts taking out the vamps, werewolves, and other odd beasties she’s worked hard to help become productive members of society, she’s got to figure it out before they all disappear and the world becomes utterly normal.

Normal is so overrated.

Seriously love this cover and another book I must get my greedy lil hands on.
And last but certainly not least is:

The Dark Devine by Bree Despain
Relsease Date: December 22nd 2009
Publisher: EdgemontUSA
AmazonBook Depository US, Book Depository UK

Description:

A prodigal son
A dangerous love
A deadly secret . .

Grace Divine, daughter of the local pastor, always knew something terrible happened the night Daniel Kalbi disappeared—the night she found her brother Jude collapsed on the porch, covered in blood. But she has no idea what a truly monstrous secret that night really held. And when Daniel returns three years later, Grace can no longer deny her attraction to him, despite promising Jude she’ll stay away.

As Grace gets closer to Daniel, her actions stir the ancient evil Daniel unleashed that horrific night. Grace must discover the truth behind Jude and Daniel’s dark secret . . . and the cure that can save the ones she loves. But she may have to lay down the ultimate sacrifice to do it—her soul.
I don’t remember if I read this book or not but from what I have seen so far, it definitely has peaked my interest.
So these are my three choices for my this week’s wishlist. Hope you enjoy my picks and please feel free to leave some comments or thoughts.

I've read The Dark Divine (I really liked it but I didn't love it), but Paranormalcy and Almost to Die For are on my wishlist too. Paranormalcy has gotten so many good reviews; I can't wait to read it!
