Explore This! Park City, Utah

To be honest, before reading Everneath by Brodi Ashton, I had never heard of Park City, Utah before, But, as I read through the pages, I discovered the connection with the Sundance Film Festival and realized I did know this place and its images, just not it’s actual name.

And though the Film Festival is running, even as we speak, Everneath is told from the perspective of someone that lives there year round. As Nikki, the main character, talks about her life, we see how important the snow is for this area but also a mix of city and rural living. Let’s check it out for ourselves:

The pristine white snow (with some track marks), make this look like the perfect winter wonderland.

This looks like a great blend of old time feel with modern amenities.

Lifestyles of the rich and famous, anyone?

The street lit up for visitors and residents alike.

This looks like a perfect place for Hollywood A-listers to set up camp, while they check out all the indie films at Sundance.

I may have mentioned once or twice before that this is my personal favorite way to enjoy the slopes...

Rustic beauty, lakeside.

The contrast of the lush green hues in the warmer months is just as lovely as the snowy counterpart.

Anyone up for a little night time ski?

To me, it’s evident how this city became known as “Park City”: it looks like a playground for all ages, year round. What do you all think of this part of Utah? Is it visit worthy? Have any of our lucky readers ever been here? I’d love some personal stories 🙂

And if you get a chance to check out Everneath, do so. It’s neat YA take on underworld lore.

I used to go to Salt Lake City, Utah every year with my family because my dad’s family all live there. But sadly I’ve never been to this part of Utah, but it’s really beautiful. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us.
