The Flying Winner Post

Hey Everyone!

You can guess what I’ve been doing yesterday from the title of this post: yep I’ve spent the afternoon flying! 😀 I’ve always loved it (wanted to be a pilot when I was a kid (after my princess and ice ballerina phase) 😉 ) and now I got this event as a birthday present from my parents. We had a lovely weather: sunny and clear and I flew above not just the plains and hills but he city itself: I saw the down-town monuments, the Parliament, the Danube with its bridges (and how amazingly blue it is from the air). It was truly a memorable afternoon! 😀

The I’m Being Sick Winner Post

Hey Everyone!

As the title said I’ve been sick this week. The kind when you have a fever, sleep away the day (and night) and are even too tired to hold a book and read 🙁 Yep I know, hard to believe and even sadder to experience it. I always hoped that if I were home sick I could lounge and read all day, but sadly this time I was too tired to 🙁 Thankfully I’m feeling better though I still cough and blow my nose, and since I had the house to myself this weekend, I could at the end indulge in my fantasy of lounging and reading all day. Finally. 😀

The Saying Goodbye Winner Post

Hey Everyone!

Before you think I’m the one saying goodbye to YOU let me reassure you that’s not the case, you won’t get rid of me so easily 😉 No, it’s the end of summer and that means my little sister leaves home and returns to school. Abroad. 🙁 This year she’s doing an exchange program and will be studying in sunny Lisboa (Portugal), so you can guess where I’ll be spending my autumn holiday 😉

This time of the year is always a bit sad: after having spent months with her, doing all those special sister bonding stuff (from late night Smash marathons to Sunday afternoon bakings, from summer picnics to shopping sprees) it makes me sad that I won’t see her for months. I got so used to her being a phone call away and her stopping by my office for an impromptu lunch between sisters *sigh* Well, anyway I am glad …

Tomorrow will by my birthday!
