Hello and welcome to another edition of my wish list segment here at Book Lovers, Inc.

Happy New Year Everyone!!! Time sure flew by… Goodbye to 2010 and hello 2011!! I hope everyone had a safe and happy holidays in 2010!

Its great to be back here with you once more to share a little about what I would love to get my greedy lil hands on in this awesome new year!

I don’t know about you but have to say once more how much I am anxiously awaiting the release of Shadowfever by KMM due out finally on this January 18th 2011.

I know that there will be quite a few release party discussions. But knowing me, I will probably be locked away from the world reading my precious copy of Shadowfever. Who else plans to get this conclusion to such amazing saga? I know I cannot be the only anxiously awaiting to find out just who Barrons really is besides being all mine of course. *grin* If there were a time to for one book that would cause nail bitting… Shadowfever would be it.

But until Jan 18, here are few likely books on my wish list that I also cannot wait to enjoy to read. Book Reading Marathons and other must read Novels are heading my way… I hope?? 😉 So I like to call this … The Were Edition.

Werewolf in Manhattan by Vicki Lewis Thompson
Wild About You Series Bk #1
Penguin Group

Emma Gavin writes bestselling novels about werewolves, but that doesn’t mean she believes in them — and she certainly doesn’t think she’ll meet one. But that’s exactly what happens when her books catch the attention of a rich and powerful pack of Manhattan Weres, who have kept their existence hidden for centuries. Alarmed by the accuracy of her novels, they’re determined to find out if a renegade is acting as her informant.

Aidan Wallace, the pack leader’s son and heir, knows he’s the wolf for the job, but when he gets close to Emma, they are both surprised by an attraction too strong to deny. To surrender to it, Aidan will have to risk everything— including the security of the pack he’s sworn to protect…

This is definitely sounds like a great read from what I just seen in this book blurb. I can’t remember the last time I read a were book. Seriously hope this will be a great start to wonderful new series. Especially since I picture were Aidan as an other were. Cough*Alcide*cough lol!

Seriously though folks I slowly getting over the reading & reviewing funk I have been through lately and hope to get back to focus. And this one sounds like a perfect book to start off the new year with.

How to Flirt With A Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper
Naked Werewolf Series Book #1

Northern Exposure

Even in Grundy, Alaska, it’s unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbor Cooper Graham—who has been openly critical of Mo’s ability to adapt to life in Alaska—has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble.

For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, it’s love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, he’s worried that he might be the violent canine in question.

If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if he’s not responsible, then who is? And when a werewolf falls head over haunches in love with you, what are you supposed to do anyway? The rules of dating just got a whole lot more complicated. . . .

Seriously… How can you not want to read this one.. It sure has me smiling–kool-aid style and I haven’t even read this book yet. The title alone has me adding this one to my “whatever shall I do until I get this book” wish list.

Big Bad Beast by Shelly Laurenston
Pride Series Book #6
Kensington Brava
May 2011
AmazonB&NBook DepositoryGoodreads

When it comes to following her instincts, former Marine Dee-Ann Smith never holds back. And this deadly member of a shifter protection group will do anything to prove one of her own kind is having hybrids captured for dogfights. Trouble is, her too-cute rich-boy boss Ric Van Holtz insists on helping out. And his crazy-like-a-fox smarts and charming persistence are making it real hard for Dee to keep her heart safe…

Ric can’t believe his luck. He’s wanted this fiercely-independent she-wolf from day one, but he never expected teamwork as explosive as this. And now is his last chance to show Dee what she needs isn’t some in-your-face Alpha male-but a wily, resourceful wolf who’ll always have her back in a fight…and between the sheets.

I haven’t had the pleasure of reading all of books in the Pride series .. However, the ones I did get lucky enough to read were out of this world hilarious. I don’t know how Shelly does it but she manages to make me love and hate her heroines at the same time.

If you are looking for new book(s) to read.. This would be the time to check out any and all of Shelly’s books. She absolutely rocks! Big Bad Beast is also going to be added to my “whatever shall I do until I get this book” wish list.

Sorry to cut this one short this week. Still have to rest & relax while getting over family and the holidays.

Anyone wants Shadowfever as bad as I do?
Until next time…. Smile!

I <3 the Fever series so much! I have been anxiously awaiting Shadowfever! I know as so as I get it, I will forsake all other books until I devour it. LOL

I love your other picks too. There are just too many good looking para/vamp/were series!

Ooh! So looking forward to the Molly Harper series. Her "Nice Girls Don't…" series was so precious. Definitely Kool-Aid-smile worthy. ^_^

I will be at our local Borders doors with my face planted against the window on Shadowfever release day! They will be scared to let me in (foaming at the mouth does that to people) .

I have added The Pride series to my TBR pile. I love authors who make me laugh.
