Blurb:

Alien Super-Being Exterminator Kitty Katt is expecting her first baby. But the alien attacks are getting more dangerous, and now Kitty and her Alpha Centaurion husband, Jeff, have to find out who’s behind the conspiracy to kill Kitty’s secret agent mom and what caused Kitty’s transformation into a superhuman-and they’ve got to do it all before the baby shower…

My Thoughts:

Koch did it again- with Alien Proliferation she delivers another fast paced and enthralling novel in her Katherine Kitty Katt series. It’s hard to review this book without spoiling the previous ones so if you are behind on reading them I caution you to read on only if you don’t mind spoilers.

Kitty is pregnant and feels like it too- she describes with more wit and gusto but you get the gist. 😉 But she still is the same gal we know and love. Her deep thinking skills are still mind-boggeling and she is still as sharp as ever. I adore all these seemingly fast-talked group discussions where Kitty explains the world to the team. You go girl!

Alien Proliferation is not only fun and wit though. We find very emotional and heartbreaking scenes in this one. I might had have a tear or two in my eyes. I don’t to tell you too much about why but it did catch me by surprise.

Another thing I adored was Martini and his jealousy banter with the various male persons around him. I know I should find this soooo adorable but I do. It gives him this primal appeal. *sigh* Love it!

The plot is tightly woven together and as always I didn’t get who’s the bad guy before Kitty laid it out for me. Koch is rather goot at deceiving us first and then bam revealing the evil plot of the antagonist.

For me Koch’s books aren’t only the entertainment for a few hours. After I read one I catch myself starting to quote some lines from to people at random. Well they usually do giggle so here one of my favortite quotes just for you:

Kitty about her pregnant self:

“Look, I’m the size of a freaking hippo. If we were at the zoo, the tourist would take pictures of the hippo in black and white Armani maternity wear and toss their popcorn to me and, sadly, I would eat it….”

As always a wonderful read and a series you just shouldn’t miss out on – fast paced, funny and just intoxicating. A must read for all pop culture lovers.

I give Alien Proliferation 4 stars!

I’ve won the second book in this series over at Paranormal Haven, and someone promised me the first one. Waiting for that, and then I can start reading 🙂

I so hope you will like this series!

    Okay, Susi, I hate you.

Not really. I still love you; but, after I (finally) forgave you for the whole early Head Rush thing, now you show up with this! THIS is how you flaunt your love for us poor folk who don’t have access to all these incredibly early goodies?

Hmmmm….it may take me some time to get over this one! (But I’m glad you enjoyed the newest in the series.)

Ohh no. ((huge hugs)) I swear I waited as long as I could with reading and reviewing it. Only a few more days till it’s out. Please forgive me.

And well we have a Head Rush surprise for our readers later this month. 😉

This is one of those series where I have been collectng the books but just haven’t started reading them yet!! I love that everyone seems to have such fun reading them though. 🙂

I know that problem. You should start it- it’s one of those where you will be shocked that you waited so long with starting it.

I can’t wait. I bought the series when I read the third book review here, I got them on my eReader and the first one in paper back, no regrets. I tried to preorder it but Kobobooks doesn’t do it :C So I mark it on my calender XD

Haven’t read this series. The book sounds great and it would be fun to read a paranormal romance that is also funny. Thanks for sharing.

It is more science fiction romance. No vamps or shifters in this one. 😉
