My Wishlist: Most Awaited 2012 Titles Part 2

Well, since this is a part two of my previous week’s wishlist post, you do well to imagine that just one post couldn’t possibly include every title I’m drooling over this year… And how could I ever include in just one post all the amazing books I can’t wait to read this year. And since it’s only January this means that I still haven’t been informed of all – scratch that – most of the upcoming releases of this year… But I’ll try to refrain myself and just let you know some more about a few other books that I just die to read!

Today’s discussion topic was inspired by our special author guest Stacey Kennedy and her latest release Supernaturally Kissed, which is a paranormal romance story between a breathing living heroine and a deceased ghost hero (you can read our dual review here).  I was immediately intrigued by the concept of how could an author write a love story, romantic relationship between a living person and a ghost and have the readers believe in their love and happiness? We romance lovers need our hero and heroine to touch, kiss, make love, then how can an author make a romantic relationship sound satisfactory and fulfilling without any physical contact? Is it possible?

Explore This! Wilmington, North Carolina

Today, we’re heading back State-side to visit Wilmington, North Carolina. This lovely city, situated on the Cape Fear, has cropped up in several of Nicholas Spark’s books, including Message in a Bottle and Dear John. It was also the area in which Dawson’s Creek was filmed and is home to Screen Gems studios, which if you’re a movie fan (read: credit reader) like myself, you’ll know what that means.

Let’s take a look to see why its scenery has been such a popular location for filming…and writing about:
