Words and Music: The Casual Vacancy by J.K Rowling
Words and music is a new feature I am starting here at BLI, I previously used to do it at my own blog Storywings but now we would like the opportunity for you guys to share as well.
Do you ever hear a song and immediately think of a book? Do you ever see a book that immediately reminds you of a song…well I do.
Every time I see the book: The Casual Vacancy by J.K Rowling
I think of this song:
This happened more towards the middle to end of The Casual Vacancy as the characters true natures and situations started to come into the light. I started singing These Days in my head and now everytime I see Casual Vacancy on my bookshelf (which is a lot because it’s got a prime spot) I think of this Bon Jovi song.

Around The Bookish World: Week-In-Review
Welcome to this week’s news post and we have a jam packed edition! First up we have the final decision ruling from Judge Cote on the Agency trial which Apple has been found guilty of colusion. We also have news on Orson Scott Card’s open letter about intolerance over the boycott on his movie adaptation for ENDER’S GAME and more Bookish news!
Well it was pretty obvious that the outcome for the Agency trial would not be in favour for Apple which is the reasons why the Big 6 publishers settled rather than battle it out. But the ruling and summary which details the level of collusion is pretty mind blowing.
