From debut author Cassie Alexander comes a spectacular new urban fantasy series where working the nightshift can be a real nightmare.Nursing school prepared Edie Spence for a lot of things. Hey Everyone!
Yesterday I had my 10 year high school reunion. Yep 10 years! And no, it does not make me old! (insert ferocious kitten look) So anyway I was excited to meet my high school classmates and see what everyone has become, the last time we met everyone was still at college/university so now I was curious to see if people changed schools/careers and what they ended up doing. And you know what was the weirdest part? My two closest best girl friends and my best guy friend are my high school friends and I usually see them/talk to them at least once a week if not more, but there were some high school friends/classmates I haven’t seen for more than 8 years and after 5 minutes we were back to those times and it didn’t feel like a decade has gone by, so weird, but so great 😀 And …

Welcome to this week’s news post! It’s been pretty eventful with a ruling from the US judge who has decreed that Agency pricing is unlawful in the US, more rumours of new Kindles and Apple tablets and the sad passing of Monica Jackson who died earlier this week.
Well, things seem to be hotting up with the Anti-trust lawsuit against the Big five publishers. The judge ruling over the suit, has stated that the DOJ does have a case about the allegations of collusion and price-fixing and that a trial will go ahead. In addition to this another 17 states will be suing also, although it looks like that Simon and Schuster will be settling with them along with Hachette and Harper Collins who have settled previously. Jane from Dear Author has summarised and explain the new developments with this fantastic post and it is pretty amazing because it looks …

Dark. Debauched. Delicious.
Is she ready to go under his knife?
Leila Vaughn is a tax lawyer at a prestigious London law firm. And a whore. Leila didn’t take the night job just to pay off her debts–an affair with an older man once stirred a pit of darker desires. Now her year as an escort is almost over, she’s ready to lock up her alter-ego, Charlotte, and be normal once again.
What’s bad is that her colleague, Matt, just caught her out.
What’s worse is that their boss, Joseph, is with him.
Matt wants to rescue Leila. She should want what he does–monogamy and escape from the city–if she’s going to be normal, right? But Joseph is as familiar …
Today we welcome Lucy V. Morgan to Book Lovers Inc. Lucy is here to discuss her latest release, The Chairman of the Whored, an erotic tale of passion and self-discovery. There’s also a giveaway, so be sure to read through the interview for your chance to win.
BLI: Hi Lucy, welcome to Book Lovers Inc! Can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Hello, and thank you for having me 🙂
I’m from England. I like to bake. I like the little, beautiful, terrible things about people, the stuff lots of people never notice. All three things inform my stories.
BLI: Describe a typical day of writing? Are you a planner or pantser?
Lucy: A planner—I suck with the pantsing. I drop my daughter off at school, run a few errands, do my admin and probably do some editing work. I …

Hello Book Lovers! Happy this week is slowly reaching its end and the weekend is so close? I know I am!
For this week, I have prepared something special for you! A post that takes my imagination to gorgeous beaches and sunny days! With the weather, at least here in Greece, getting hotter and hotter, I just can’t help but feel that summer is here, a bit sooner than we all expected – but hey, I’m not complaining 🙂 – and envision long days at a beach, lounging under the hot sun along with some very hot reads! I don’t know about you, but for me, one of the best ways to spend a day at the beach is with a nice book. And here you can safely assume that I’m not that big on summer sports as most of my friends are, so, that gives me plenty of time …
Last week I was between two review books: I have just finished reading a contemporary romance novel and the next book on my reading schedule (oh no, do not think I have a fancy schedule I follow, it is just a thrown together list of books and review dates I have signed up for) was a contemporary romantic suspense story, when I felt like I was suffocating and needed something else. No, it wasn’t because the books weren’t good or were lacking in anything, no it was simply that I overloaded on contemporary stories and needed my historical romance fix. It certainly had physical symptoms like an actual withdrawal:
– my attention span was that of a fly (all over the place, the book couldn’t hold my interest for longer than half an hour),
– I felt bored with the story, the characters and the romance (I stress once …
